We cut our shirting on three distinct blocks. Our slim-fit shirts taper through the chest and waist for a close silhouette under a blazer. Our classic-fit shirts sit fuller through the body and are the safe pick if you’re between sizes. The Alfatech performance line uses a lightly-fitted block with mechanical stretch, so it reads slim but still moves like a knit.
Alfatech is our in-house performance fabric family. Alfatech shirting weaves in mechanical stretch and moisture-wicking yarns so a dress shirt or trouser breathes on a warm commute, resists wrinkles through a full day, and still holds a press. It’s built for people who need to look tailored but move like the day is long.
Step ‘N Flex is the cushioning and flex-sole system used across our women’s pumps, sandals, boots and flats. A hidden foam pod sits under the ball of the foot, and the outsole is grooved to flex naturally as you walk — so a heel or a strappy sandal reads polished but still lets you stand comfortably through a workday, wedding or event.
Our men’s oxfords and derbys — including the Quinn, Adam and Theo cap-toes and the Andrew plain-toe — run true to your standard US size on a medium D width. Our sneakers (Grayson, Landan, Benny) run true as well and are built on a slightly softer last. For women’s Step ‘N Flex pumps and sandals, we recommend ordering your normal size; the flex sole gives a bit of extra forgiveness at the toe box.
Machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low, or hang to dry for the longest fabric life. Our Alfatech shirts are engineered to come out of the dryer wrinkle-resistant — no ironing required for most wears. Skip fabric softener on performance fabrics; it coats the moisture-wicking yarns and dulls the finish over time.
Yes. Our women’s trousers are drafted across petite, regular and curvy blocks so proportions actually match your frame — the petite line shortens rise and inseam without shrinking pocket placement, and the curvy block adds room through the hip and thigh without gapping at the waistband. Our blouses, sweaters and sleepwear are graded across the same size range.
